| Fremont, CA – September 14, 2006– Infrant Technologies, a leader in network-based storage for home and small business use, today announced the ultra-high-capacity and virtually silent Infrant Repertoire™ Digital Media Server, designed exclusively for the audio/visual enthusiast home theater market.
The Repertoire Digital Media Server incorporates all of the major technological innovations that have made Infrant an award-winning storage provider. Beyond the patent-pending X-RAID and IT3107 network storage processor, Infrant has included a unique fanless Heatsync™ cooling system, which efficiently dissipates heat from internal electronics and includes special isolation pads to minimize noise – making the Repertoire perfectly suited for any listening or viewing environment.
Audio/visual enthusiasts will be impressed with the Repertoire’s massive capacity of up to 3 Terabytes – based on currently available hard drive sizes. This current maximum capacity can store up to 52,500 hours of compressed music or up to 750 DVDs. The Repertoire utilizes four Seagate® DB35 DynaPlay™-enabled hard drives, cleverly arranged in a “parity” protected configuration (X-RAID), insuring maximum capacity while eliminating the possibility of losing a user’s valuable media collection due to hard drive failure. Additionally, the unit is self-monitoring and, should a problem arise, it will send out an e-mail alert and display the appropriate LED warning code. The unit will even shut itself down if needed in order to ensure the user’s digital media collection is properly protected.

Support for the Slim Devices Squeezebox™and TransporterTM, SONOS®, Windows® Media Center, InteractTV® and many other home media devices come standard with the Repertoire, so it can be easily migrated into existing home theater environments.
In addition, the Repertoire supports all major operating systems including Windows, Mac® OS, UNIX and Linux to facilitate easy transfer of digital content. The unit has a gigabit network port and a custom network storage processor for easy connection to an AV network, and it provides the speed needed for serving up large high-definition audio and video files. Furthermore, the unit can be remotely managed by any browser-enabled device, be it a laptop, pocket PC, cell phone or even an Internet-enabled refrigerator.
Pricing and availability
The Infrant Repertoire Digital Media Server will be available from select dealers, customer installers and Infrant’s Web site in October 2006. Pricing for the unit is MSRP $3,999 (USD) for the 2TB version and MSRP $4,999 (USD) for the ultra-high-capacity 3TB version.
